Hélène Pouliot, acupuncturist

I’ve been involved in alternative medicine for many years now.
When I was young, I remember going on walks in the woods with my family to pick herbs and medicinal roots. As a teenager, I explored different meditation and yoga techniques, disciplines that I practiced so thoroughly that I even became a teacher of Kundalini yoga.
I lived in San Francisco for 6 years, during which time I discovered Ayurvedic medicine which lead me to travel to India. While looking for remedies for my own health problems, I developed an interest in Traditional Chinese Medicine. I then fell in love with acupuncture and its healing power.
Having found my way, I returned to Montreal and undertook a 3-year acupuncture program at Rosemont College. Today, I am a member of the Quebec Order of Acupuncturists (OAQ) and it is always with a sense of wonder and pride that I practice the art of acupuncture.
